I used to lament that I caught every bug that flew by. I was sick all through high school with repeated bouts of strep, often sick in college, and developed asthma as an adult. Now, with an 80% (maybe more) TF diet, gluten and dairy-free due to allergies, I am healthier than I have ever been. It hasn't solved all my problems, but I'm still eating too many grains and sweets. (Although generally "healthier" sweets.) I just don't get sick anymore, and have only had one asthma attack in the last two years. My kids are super-resistant to colds and such, too. I love it!

My list mirrors yours in so many ways and we are just starting our journey. I have the first headache today that I have had in over a month...and we went out to dinner last night.

Your comment about bread made me laugh. Even before we knew much about traditional foods, we did always consume whole grain bread and that was all our kids knew. One day at a friends for lunch, my oldest then almost 5 asked me what happened to their bread...it was so white! My kids don't like white bread...they call it playdough bread. Thankfully they devour my homemade bread and I am trying to transition it to a more NT friendly loaf all the time.
