Hi Shannon! :) I replied to your comment on my challah post, but thought I'd paste my reply here as well to be sure you saw it. :)

"We keep Hanukkah very low-key... our church meets for a meal and such but we weren't able to go this year and didn't really do anything extra special at home. :) We don't do Hanukkah gifts like some do (we prefer to do more "celebrating" type things during the Feast of Tabernacles!). :) We love the Biblical holy days! So meaningful and always pointing us to Yeshua! :)"

We do a few "Jewish" things for fun, like making challah (yum!) but we're not about the cultural traditions so much as the Scriptures... :)

I see that you often have cortido. I'm interested to make it, but want to try it with the pineapple vinegar - but I never can seem to find an organic pineapple. How do you make yours?

Your family taste sound alot like ours. My husband and son love heat while I enjoy more simple ingredients and less heat. It definitely makes it meal prep interesting.

You have a terrific menu planned.

I made Cheeseburger Soup a few weeks ago. And like your husband, my husband loved it. I thought it was very good but Joe declared it 'the best soup ever'.
I haven't tried doing a meatloaf in the crock pot. Does it taste any different than in the oven?
