Today at Simple Bites I am sharing the two reasons I make homemade salad dressings (cost and health) and three of our favorite recipes:
- Garlic-Herb Vinaigrette
- Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
We have been eating so much salad lately with our wonderful lettuce crop being a great producer this year. Having these salad dressings really keeps things interesting and tasty!
Head on over to read the full article with recipes.

Thanks for sharing – they look yummy! How long does each dressing keep for? Do you keep the ones with oil in the fridge or on the counter? I threw away all our bottled stuff a couple of months ago, but we are eating less salad now because it takes a bit of time to make dressing every night. I noticed your picture of the buttermilk dressing was in a large quart jar, so maybe it will keep for a while? How long does it take you to go through that?
THANKS!
