Giveaway: Green Pasture’s Cinnamon Tingle Fermented Cod Liver Oil

I believe in real food because it is what God intended us to eat. I believe that nutrient-density matters and that a lot of illness is self-imposed when we consume foods that come from an industrial food system.

I also believe that if you are going to take a supplement it should be made of real food and it should not be taken to "undo" that bowl of fruity cereal you ate for breakfast.

And that is why our family takes fermented cod liver oil. In addition to paying attention to what goes into our body with every meal, getting a boost from vitamins A & D-rich cod liver oil truly does seem to make a difference.

Thankfully, there are companies like Green Pasture’s who make old-fashioned cod liver oil with a process that leaves the natural ratio of vitamin A to vitamin D intact. And taking it regularly, in addition to homemade real foods, gives you an extra boost. This is something our great grandparents knew when they forced our grandparents to take that dreaded spoonful of oily fishy flavor.

Today Green Pastures is giving away one bottle of Cinnamon Tingle Fermented Cod Liver Oil that helps that oil go down just a bit smoother.

  1. This is so exciting b/c I’ve been wanting to try their cod liver oil!
I think our family would like the cinnamon tingle best.
I also already subscribe to your news feed and LOVE IT! I love following your blog and getting new ideas. Thanks for all your work! 🙂

  2. Cinnamon sounds great. I give my kids cod liver oil (I haven’t tried fermented yet). Two of them take it straight up and like it. One I have to mix with honey so she’ll take it. 🙂

  3. I think my family would love the Oslo orange, but I’m willing to try the cinnamon tingle. Thank you so much for offering this giveaway! I’ve been wanting to try this fermented cod liver oil for a long time.

  4. We’ve only tried the orange capsules, which we like, but I’m looking to try the liquid as well…and I think the cinnamon tingle would be the best to start. I don’t know if we could handle the unflavored just yet!

  5. I believe cinnamon would be the best for my family. I’m still hoping for a garlic butter and herb flavored fish oil 🙂
I also subscribe to your blog via RSS.

  6. Cinnamon tingle is definitely the flavor for us. I thought maybe chocolate would work, but my husband won’t come near the stuff!

  7. We take the cinnamon tingle liquid. We’ve tried the arctic mint, but cinnamon is by far the easiest flavor to get down!

  8. My kids would take any flavor besides Mediterranean, which is what I have right now…so my kids aren’t getting any CLO right now!

  9. I think we’d have the *best* luck with capsules, any flavor. Barring that, I’m pretty sure the cinnamon or orange would work for us. Thanks for the opportunity!

  10. I think my husband would be most likely to take the orange flavor. I also subscribe in an rss feed.

  11. I actually kind of hate cinnamon-flavored things, but I have the Oslo Orange FCLO right now and after the first few weeks, I don’t even taste the orange flavor anymore. It just tastes a little fishy and oily. And I’m starting to like the fishy flavor. I’d probably go for Mediterranean or unflavored next, left to my own devices.

  12. We love Green Pasture FCLO! Our family is split on flavors, though. My husband and two younger kids prefer the Oslo Orange while my 7 year old and I like the Cinnamon Tingle best. We’re running low on both, so free would be great!

  13. I subscribe to your e-mail updates! We have been wanting to have the family take cod liver oil but right now we are on a really tight budget ($25) a week for groceries and I can’t fit it in. So this would be a huge blessing!!!!

  14. I think orange would be best. I sampled mint cold liver oil one time and it tasted like fishy toothpaste. I normally buy a different brand of cod liver oil which is not fermented, although I’ve always wanted to try this one. Of the other brand, I tried lemon (tasted like fish for dinner) and peach (didn’t combat the fish taste enough for me).

  15. I think that the flavor free is for us! 🙂 We are straight forward, just take it cuz it’s good for you people! This company seems awesome. We don’t have kids yet, but when we do, I think the orange will go over better for little ones!

  16. I have taken the Cinnamon Tingle and the Oslo Orange flavors. I really dont like the Oslo Orange so I would love to win a bottle of the Cinnamon Tingle so I can get back on regular regimen of FCLO every day!
