First a confession: I ate the chocolate I was going to give to you. Yep. It was really good too. The dark milk chocolate bar with fleur de sel is the best milk chocolate I have ever eaten. It is not nearly as cloyingly sweet as most milk chocolate is. I love that it leaves a slight bitter aftertaste like most dark chocolate does. It’s also really creamy and delicious.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because Kesha, at Askinosie Chocolate, contacted me with the following generous surprise:
“Shannon,We read your blog yesterday! We would love to send the winner the same
products we sent you and we will throw in a natural cocoa powder. Just
don’t giveaway your dark milk chocolate! Enjoy it, if you would like.
Let us know who the winner is and we will ship the chocolate to them.”
******Within minutes of reading the email I had to sample the dark milk chocolate bar that I had hidden in my cabinet. Thank you, Shawn Askinosie & Kesha – your chocolate is phenomenal.
So, who gets the chocolate?
I can’t believe how many people showed up and commented on this giveaway – 105 of you!
So we did a random draw and the winner is…
Amy @ Chop Wood Carry Water. (Check out her blog, btw, very neat.)
Contact me or check your email, Amy, I will be requesting your address in order to pass it on to Kesha for shipment. You will be receiving both the dark chocolate nibble bar and the dark milk chocolate bar along with the bonus cocoa powder. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you all for entering and don’t forget to head over to Askinosie Chocolate if you’re looking for some real, good chocolate with beyond fair trade practices.
