Peace with God
There are two key questions we all face:
1.) How can I be made right with God?
2.) How can I know that I am made right with God?
May the Lord bless you with these two sermons.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend. Most would agree with that statement. It comes from Proverbs 27:6. If we are honest with ourselves the people who have done the greatest kindness to us in our lives have often been the people that have sometimes wounded us by telling us the truth. The blows of…
In remembrance of the recent 500th year anniversary of Martin Luther posting his protest, this is an excellent sermon from 2007 on the marks of true reformation: [mp3j track=”http://www.pccmonroe.org/uploads/4/6/4/7/46470241/2007.10.21_the_marks_of_true_reformation_-_pastor_ralph_ovadal.mp3″ title=”The Marks of True Reformation – Ralph Ovadal”] And in case you’ve never considered it before, the historicist interpretation of Bible prophecy has a lot to…
by J.C. Ryle “He whom Thou lovest is sick.”—John xi. 3 THE chapter from which this text is taken is well known to all Bible readers. In life-like description, in touching interest, in sublime simplicity, there is no writing in existence that will bear comparison with that chapter. A narrative like this is to my…
The following sermon is one I got a chance to listen to this week. I highly recommend it as it highlights an important Biblical principle, which convicted me about some things. I jotted down a few notes from the sermon that I thought were worth pointing out: Worship must be regulated by the Word of…
The following excerpts are from “Self-inquiry” by J.C. Ryle: “Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.”—ACTS 15. 36. THE text which heads this page contains a proposal which the Apostle Paul made to Barnabas after their first…
And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem, And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him. And they did not receive him, because his…

Wow! God’s timing is amazing!
I haven’t listened to either of these yet, so I don’t know if they are what I need but the fact that these are 2 subjects I want to share with my sister and they came to me just now seems providential.
I just found out that my un-saved little sister has lung cancer that has spread into her lymph nodes. Through the tears my heart crystal out for the means to share God with this strong, stubborn woman. I’m on the east coast, she is on the west.
I am going to listen now. I just wanted to share with you how important your messages can be.
Hi Jeannie,
May the Lord grant your sister everything she needs for now and eternity. I hope you find the sermons helpful as well.

Thank you for posting these—listened this morning as I went about my business and they’re both excellent. God’s grace toward us is truly astounding!
