FREE Bonus Cookbook Now Available for Those Ordering Traditional Meals for the Frugal Family

It has taken me some time, but I am very happy to say that the mini cookbook I’ve been working on is now finished. This book of gluten-free, dairy-free, starch-free, gum-free, and rice-free recipes is near and dear to our family table and I look forward to sharing it with you all… and for FREE, for a short period of time.

If you Pre-order Traditional Meals for the Frugal Family you will get a PDF copy of a new, never before released e-book titled Wholesome Gluten-Free. This special offer expires March 31, 2020, so this offer is also good for the week following the launch of Traditional Meals for the Frugal Family.

Wholesome Gluten-Free contains Ten soaked breads and treats made from a master dough of whole grain oats, buckwheat, and sorghum. Recipes contain no gluten, dairy, starch, gum or rice flour!

How Does It Work?
Once you pre-order the book you need to send us something to confirm the purchase. You can forward your Amazon.com receipt or choose the option to post your purchase to Facebook or other social media during the Amazon.com checkout process. Then just shoot us an e-mail at homesteader@nourishingdays.com with the receipt or place we can look to verify the purchase. Please allow up to 48 hours to verify the purchase. Once we verify the purchase we will send you the e-book immediately!

  1. I just finished reading your 100% Rye cookbook. The following pages list “flour”
Pg 29 No Knead Sourdough Focaccia
Pg 37 No Knead Multipurpose Sourdough
Pg 39 No Knead SoakedYeast Risen Liaf
Pg 41 Soaked Yeast Risen Boule
    Pg 41 Sourdough Boule
    Pg 53 Sourdough Flatbread
    Pg 57 Sourdough Noodles
    Pg 59 Sourdough Dumplings

Is this Rye Flour or White or Whole Purpose Flour?

    Please clarify, thank you

    1. Hi Kim – Great question! Whenever “flour” is listed in 100% Rye, a medium to dark rye flour can be used. Medium is what I used in developing all of the recipes. Hope that helps!

  2. Dear Shannon, I have made the boule from your book Wholesome glutenfree and it is seriously delicious! Very easy to make as well. Finally a glutenfree bread that tastes like ‘real’ bread.
    Thanks, Ellen

  3. Thank you so much for this mini cookbook. We have tried the pancakes and cinnamon buns so far. My son and I who are both gluten free have loved them both. Sorghum is a more expensive ingredient for me here so I am going to try using up some millet that I haven’t been using. I pray you are blessed in this season and thanks again!
