A few notes…

dec-24-2008-016

  • Thank you all for the kind comments on my recent posts regarding my journey to nourishing food and my reflections on the past year. Y’all are too kind.
  • If you visited my blog sometime this afternoon you may have noticed it was in a state of disrepair. I hope to make some changes to the design in the coming week/months, but for now this will do.
  • Next week I will be hosting a giveaway. I am really excited about this since it is such a wonderful product and I can’t wait to share it with you.
  • I will be on a bit of a blogging break between now and next week sometime. I want to spend a bit of extra time with our family and work on some organizing projects. The new year is motivating me to get more organized and to continue to simplify.
  • I have gotten the recipe index updated with all of the recipes I have posted so far. I have some more to share with you, but until then… head over to the recipe index if you’re looking for something.
  • Finally, I am excited for the new year and what it will bring for simple natural nourishing. I am debating a name change and a new look for the blog. I look forward to sharing more recipes, a highlight on local & seasonal foods, my journey to an organized and peaceful home and much more.

Have a blessed new year!

  1. I love your blog. I found it looking for menus. The title caught my eye as I also love Nourishing Traditions and I was Certified Nutritional Therapist. My husband and I are also following the baby steps. We have 5 children, all either teens or early 20’s. What I am very curious about is the past 2 months of no spending. As this is January 1st, how did the past 2 month go for you? We are considering doing something similar and I very interested in what you learned over the past 2 months. I think your post on October 31st was very inspirational.

  2. Hi Shannon! I LOVE the name of your blog and I love that the layout is simple. In the spirit of simplicity, I would hate to see you make more work for yourself! We love your blog just the way it is!!!

    Just my $.02….Happy New Year!

And like Lori, I’d love to hear an update on your last two No Spend Months!

    Thanks,
    Carrie

  3. The new year is such an excellent time to reevaluate things. I also like the new recipe index–the recipes look fantastic.
