A Blustery Day

I do love a cold day – the going "out in it" and the cozying back up. When those kind of days come along, when the wind tears through you and the cold sneaks in under the door, I try my very best to savor them.

Because those days don’t come along very often here and I know that soon the days will be long and the temperatures high and I will be thinking of those days full of wood fires and school books and the mending pile and food simmering and soaking all day atop the wood stove.

And best of all is the cozying up for stories and naps and tea with the littlest ones all in one bed.

  1. I like the pics. Thanks for sharing a day in your life. I keep thinking how to get out of my trapped life on the grid with DH working for “The Man”, by that I mean the federal govt. And for anyone reading this no we are not in the 1%!
